Mr. Josh Culp

Mr. Culp is in his 13th year in education.  He started his teaching career as a reading and math pullout teacher, and transitioned into teaching 1st grade (self-contained) for two years.  He then moved to a high school setting as a Special Education Inclusion teacher and Head Baseball Coach at Eisenhower HS in Aldine ISD.  In his tenure there, he taught Special Education for 5 years and English IV for 2 years while getting his master's degree from Texas A&M University, Commerce in Athletic Administration.  In 2017 he took a position as an Athletic Director in Terrell County ISD. Due to some health issues in his family, he came back to the Greater Houston area, moved to a house in Magnolia and was hire to teach English IV and be the Head Softball Coach at Caney Creek HS in Conroe ISD.  He wanted to work in the community and was able to join the team at Bear Branch Elementary as a Special Education Inclusion teacher.
Mr. Culp is "very excited to join the BBE family," and looks "forward to finally welcoming students back to campus in such an unsettling time."
