November - Teacher of the Month and Staff of the Month

Teacher of the Month - Josh Culp

Josh Culp is currently in his 13th year in education and has worked in several different capacities ranging from 1st-grade teacher, 12th grade English teacher, Head Baseball Coach, district Athletic Director, Head Softball Coach. He is now settling back into the wonderful world of elementary as a Special Education teacher.

“Since moving to Magnolia two years ago, I knew this is where I not only wanted to send my two kiddos (Ashlyn BBIS, Aiden BBE) but where I wanted to work as well.” Mr. Culp comes to us from Conroe ISD, after previously working in Aldine ISD for 11 years at the high school at which he graduated from (Eisenhower HS) and Terrell County ISD in west Texas. His wife, Beth, is also a special education teacher and works with visually impaired students in Klein ISD. “I am extremely happy to be a part of not just Magnolia ISD, but also to be a part of such a wonderful family at BBE.”


Staff Member of the Month - Rebecca Peters

Rebecca is married to her best friend, Wes. She is a diehard Astros fan and spends her weekends watching her granddaughters play softball. She is a mother of three grown children and a grandmother of four grandchildren, who call her “Mimi.”

Rebecca Peters has a passion for serving and helping others. She has spent her life with various school systems, ranging from a PTO president, Kindergarten para, front desk receptionist, and a Pre-K teacher. She is a firm believer in “Love first, teach second. She believes that if children know that you love them and accept them, they are more willing and able to learn and grow. “I am so honored to be at Bear Branch and be able to love and teach these precious kiddos. They are our future.  Thank you to my BBE family for selecting me as Staff Member of the Month for November.
