Ms. Clayton's Class

Welcome to Ms. Clayton's Second Grade Class! I am excited to be teaching 2nd grade for my eighth year now. I have previously taught 5th and 6th grade. I have three wonderful children- Lauren (22) is a first year high school English teacher and a graduate of LSU (Baton Rouge),
Steven (19) is a sophmore at University of Missouri (go Mizzou!), and my youngest, Megan (17), is a senior in high school. I absolutely love teaching 2nd grade and happy to be a part of your children's lives. We all learn and grow together. I know it's going to be a fabulous year!

Social Studies: Write three facts in complete sentences about your state. Study the state's name, location on the map, and one fact about that state. By the middle of the year, students will be expected to write more complicated sentences about the state besides the state's flower, tree, and bird. Homework is due every Friday.
